BEFORE PLACING IT ON THE NAILS, SO I DON'T HAVE TO CUT ANY EXCESS OFF WHEN I
AM DONE.

APPLY YOUR TOP COAT THAN APPLY A TINY BIT OF NAIL GLUE
TO THE FRINGE EDGE AND PLACE IT ON THE NAIL AND LET IT COMPLETELY DRY. YOU
CAN APPLY A TOP COAT ONLY OVER THE EDGE OF THE FRINGE THAT IS ON THE NAIL
AND LET THE FRINGE HANG FREELY.

TRANSFER FOIL
APPLY ONE COAT ADHESIVE LIGHTLY AND ALLOW TO DRY
COMPLETELY. IT WILL DRY CLEAR BUT IT STAYS TACKY. YOU DO NOT WANT TO TOUCH
THE ADHESIVE AFTER IT HAS DRIED.
AFTER YOU HAVE CUT THE TRANSFER FOIL TO THE DESIRED
LENGTH JUST PRESS ONTO THE NAIL AND RUB FIRMLY OVER THE ENTIRE SURFACE OF
TRANSFER FOIL PIECE. NOW JUST PEEL THE CLEAR ACETATE BACKING AND YOU ARE
READY TO APPLY YOUR TOP COAT.
YOU CAN USE THE FOIL FOR THE ENTIRE NAIL OR JUST PART
OF YOUR FINGERNAIL TO ADD BLING TO DESIGNS.

STRIPPING TAPE
Tape has a tacky backing and will stick
to a dried polished nail. Using nipper, cut tape 1/16 inch away from cuticle
and free edge, this will prevent the tape from peeling and rolling off the
nail. Seal tape on nail with top coat and reseal with top coat every week to
prevent
peeling.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING IRON-ON DESIGNS
1.
Use a hard, flat surface (no padded ironing board).
2.
Before peeling off the backing, center your design on the shirt. If you
have a neckline design, cut out the white paper around the neckline of
the design, so that you can see the neckline of the shirt.
3.
Pull off the backing, correct and reposition metal pieces with a
tweezers (if the pieces were moved by pulling off the backing).
4.
Place the sticky-side down onto fabric. If not in the desired position,
lift and replace.
5.
Place a cotton pressing cloth over top of design. The cloth protects the
garment.
6.
Set the iron on medium or wool setting-NO STEAM! (Adjust the temperature
as needed. You may want to put a pressing cloth or flat cardboard inside
the shirt.
7.
Iron directly on top of the pressing cloth for a
minimum
of 45-60 seconds. Heavier fabrics may need a bit more time, and light
fabrics will need less time. Do not move the iron; just let it sit in
place. As you press, move the pressing cloth with the iron. The pressing
cloth is protecting the fabric of your garment. It is recommended to
press across the garment up and down and side to side.
8.
Once cool, the
sticky paper is easier to remove if you run your hot iron over it to
quickly heat the adhesive. Put the plastic back down and repeat step #7.
If the
pieces are not sticking, you are not melting the adhesive.
9.
After the plastic is removed, turn the shirt inside-out, place the
pressing cloth inside the shirt and re-press the shirt for about 15
seconds with 5 seconds of pressure. This will draw the glue deep into
the fabric of the shirt.
Your
project is now complete!
Rub your hands across the design, up and down, back and forth, using
your fingernails. Don't be afraid. If anything feels loose, you can
re-press it with the pressing cloth. You want to make sure that it will
wash and dry with no problem. If you ever notice any loose pieces while
wearing or after laundry, cover design with a pressing cloth and
re-iron. The glue is still there, and you can re-activate it into the
garment.
Test it!
Again, if the adhesive
isn't melted, the pieces won't stick. Your iron is the variable.
Transfers are fully machine-washable, dryable, and dry cleanable (when
properly applied).
Note: Size 6ss and
10ss crystals will iron easily with metals at the same time, but they
may need a little more time. Larger crystals should be ironed on
separately; because of their thickness they will require more pressing
time the larger the size you use (16ss crystals will take 60 seconds,
20ss will take 90 seconds, and 34ss
will take 120
seconds).

1. Each
transfer is completely ready to iron-on. Preheat your Iron to the
proper temperature for your fabric |
2. Slowly pull
off the protective white backing and discard. |
3. Place
the transfer - sticky side
down onto the garment. Make sure it is exactly where you want it to
be. |
4. Place
the iron directly onto the
clear film. Allow it to remain in
place for at least 20 seconds before moving. |
5. Lift
straight up several times
during the application to make sure the solid part of the soleplate
in on the design. Where there are steam vents there is no heat. |
6. Allow to
cool and slowly remove the adhesive film. Repress from back side of
the of fabric. If any trims remain on the film, replace film and
repeat steps above. |

MYLAR/MOTIF PAPER
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING MYLAR
SHEETS TO Design your own Crystal Motifs
1.
Place your pattern on a flat surface and tape the edge down with scotch
tape.
2.
Remove white backing from the clear Mylar sheet.
3.
Place Mylar sheet directly on top of pattern (sticky side up) and tape
the edges of the Mylar sheet down with Scotch tape.
4.
Place the crystals (shiny side down, glue side up) to outline your
pattern and create the design.
5.
When all crystals are in place, replace the white plastic paper backing
and remove scotch tape.
6.
Check your design to make sure it is the way you want it – if not simply
remove backing and reposition crystals.
Iron-on the finished design
1.
Carefully remove the white paper backing.
2.
Position the design onto fabric. (the clear Mylar sheet will hold the
design together.) Place Teflon over design.
3.
Set your iron to the proper temperature for the material, and allow iron
to heat thoroughly. MAKE SURE STEAM IS OFF. For most cotton fabrics
use “Wool Setting”
4.
Leave iron on design for approximately 25-45 seconds depending on fabric
(less time for silks, more for denim, etc.) For large designs, heat one
section at a time until all crystals are heated. Do not move the iron.
Just let it sit in place.
5.
Turn item over and press again from the back.
6.
Allow to cool for approximately 3 minutes to form a permanent bond.
Slowly remove the Mylar sheet. If, when removing the Mylar … if any of
the crystals are not firmly attached, carefully reposition the Mylar and
repeat the ironing process.
7.
Allow the crystals to cool and rub your finger over them. If any
crystals feel “loose,” reapply the iron as above.
I
RECOMMEND USING A TEFLON SHEET OR PRESSING CLOTH TO MAKE A UNIFORM HEAT
SURFACE AND TO PROTECT DELICATE FABRICS. When the design is totally
sealed it becomes permanent and the garment may be machine washed up to
140 degrees, dryable and dry-cleaned without damage to the design.
* If
you need to iron the garment, press the wrong side with a dry iron.
